It's been about a month since the last time I was here, and it had recently opened at Platform Culver City. With any new restaurant opening you have long lines to be expected. Yet, today seemed even longer than the first time I visited. This place is hopping! The staff is friendly and eagerly awaiting to take your order. There are four categories you can choose from (Winter, Salads, Warm Bowls, and Build your own). The Pesto Portobello had a good mix of warm quinoa, organic arugula, hot chickpeas, raw corn, spicy broccoli, warm portobello mix, roasted chicken, and pesto vinaigrette. It was simply amazing! I thought not bad and couldn't help compare it to Tender Greens, which I do love to eat at as well. It's just a little bit more on the pricier end. The Warm Squash + Apple Winter Salad was spectacular. It consisted of warm quinoa, shredded kale, apples, warm local squash, local blue cheese, raisins, umami walnuts, and balsamic vinaigrette. My co-worker Adam calls this a Cornucopia of Flavors, which is a perfect description of this restaurant. I still want to try some more on the their menu before I start to build my own. If you enjoy eating healthy food, then this is the place you want to be at.
